Music

Music in Year 11 is a practical course of study which is developed through five component parts. These parts are integrated in a thematic approach and require the student to; research art making traditions and artist's artworks; demonstrate the ability to develop and use drawing processes and procedures with a variety of media; generate and develop ideas in making artworks - creating a two panel folio of personal artworks; complete an exploration in another medium to further develop and extend ideas and use of techniques.

Music in Year 12 is a practical course of study which is developed through two component parts. These parts are integrated in a thematic approach and require the student to research art making traditions and artist's artworks; to demonstrate the ability to develop and use drawing processes and procedures within the field of painting, printmaking or sculpture; to generate and develop ideas in making artworks. The essential ingredients for success at level 2 include ability and aptitude in art and the willingness and capability to work independently. Considerable effort, energy and wise use of time are required for best outcomes.
